Exercise Rehabilitation
The aim of NZDF Rehabilitation training is to physically rehabilitate injured service personnel in preparation for their return to normal unit duties or civilian life. ERIs are only permitted to treat uniformed members of the NZDF, and start working with an injured patient after they've been referred on by the Physiotherapist.
Facility
The Rehabilitation Centre is a small facility with treatment rooms for the physiotherapists and the Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor (ERI) to work with patients, as well as an open floor space with exercise equipment to help individuals train back to full fitness.
Physiotherapist
APM provide support to Ōhakea personnel, with civilian physiotherapists working part time within the camp. To book in to see one, email or call 0800 376 547.
