Facility
The Whenuapai Swimming Pool is a covered heated 100m pool, which is open all year round. There is a lifeguard present during opening hours.
All pool users must comply with the rules displayed on the pool wall. In particular, all users must sign in when using the facility, dependants over the age of 13 years old using the pool must be in possession of their dependants pass, and an adult must accompany dependants under the age of 13 years old.
During normal working hours the pool may be used for required activities - check the shared calendar 'AK BAS WP POOL' for availability. Military training will take precedence over any pool use.
After hours authorised and scheduled group activities such as the Base Swimming Club, Base Swimming School or the Base Water Polo Club, will take precedence over individual activities.
